The first time I showed these pots, I sold 1 pot! Dave and Mary bought it, while everyone else ignored them. Dave and Mary have faith in me, "the eye", money, and more of my BEST pots than anyone. (Keep the faith Mary, I won't disappoint you.)
So, I brought my orphans home from that show and put another effort into them and reglazed and refired. The improvement is subtle, but signifigant. I wrote and told Dave and Mary, that if they wanted me to refire the piece they had, I would.
Most of the Wisterias are very loosely glazed on the inside of the pot as well. There are flowers, leaves and vines drippily painted on the inside.
The bottom of the pot will be cleaned off before I ship it. I was in a rush to get these pots posted and didn't clean off the bottoms before photographing them.
