This is one of two Peacock pots I have made. And they were made in 95' or '96. This one is big, about 16" tall or so.

This one is the best of the two. The other is dubious. For that reason, I have to keep it for the time being. (It's ironic that I have to keep a lot of the dubious pots!)

This pot, I anticipate, is going to be sold at auction up in Ohio during "Pottery Lovers" in July. In the interest of building name recognition in the auction arena, I have offered to donate the proceeds of this piece to the Pottery Lovers organization, an organization I admire and have to thank for their years of volunteer effort. No small feat. I have yet to hear if the organization wants to accept my offer. I was told such matters must go before the board. Anyway, I am waitng to hear from you, if any board members are reading this.
As a Zanesville post script; I heard from the board, they accepted the pot for the Zanesville auction, it went for 1400. Thank you Richard and Molly!
